Description:
zaTelnet Light: a Telnet client for MS Smartphones.
ZaTelnet Light is a Telnet client for devices supporting Microsoft Compact Framework 1.0 or 2.0. It also emulates terminal VT100 (basically enough for working with Midnight Commander and others console programs).

gpsVP v0.4.18
Description:
GPS navigation program for Windows mobile.
It supports Garmin MapSource maps (.img).

Display
Main
Main display shows the following items:
* Some portion of maps loaded into program
* Cross indicating the centre of map (if turned on)
* Three or four monitors on bottom or right edge (if turned on)
* Big black point for current position (is GPS receiver determined location)
* Satellite icon indicating status of GPS receiver. With red minus when no connection is present, blue question mark when connection is present by location is not determined and green plus when location is determined
* Current polyline (usually road) name on top edge of scree (if turned on)
* Current area name on top edge of scree (if turned on)
* Waypoints earlier added by user
* Track recorded during current session
* Tracks explicitly loaded by user
* Traffic information (if loaded and turned on)
* Fastest (if available) or just straight way to a destination.

In monitors mode display shows only monitors. But many of them. Brightness
You can select low light mode to use your device in darkness.
Maps
gpsVP works with maps in Garmin MapSource format. Although the format was developed by Garmin, free maps in this format are usually produced with cgpsmapper. gpsVP opens several maps and then chooses maps to display based on current position scale and selected detail level.
Tracks
gpsVP records a track always when GPS receiver determines location. Track recorded since the program was last started is shown on screen. Recorded tracks are written to card. Each session is written into separate file. Please notice that the files are not deleted automatically. It’s up to you to choose location with enough space and delete old tracks. Only one track format is supported. It’s OziExplorer’s plt. You can also set minimum track step to preserve card space and memory. When it’s set, the next point is added to track only when it differs from previous more than the step. There are several ways to use the tracks. You can use the tracks to …
* … mark some places on your map after you left them.
* … show you way to your friends.
* … geocode your photos.
* … update maps or send your tracks yo people who develop free maps.
By the way I have a project where I accept any tracks, process them and share with map developers. You are welcome to send me your tracks or visit the site of the project (only in Russian yet).
Monitors
Monitors are small rectangle areas showing some information. Every monitor has a header indicating what this monitor shows. Here is the complete list of them:

Waypoins
gpsVP allows user mark any location with a flag. Such waypoint also has title typed in by user, altitude if it was available while marking the place and proximity radius. Setting proximity radius allows the program warn you with a sound when approaching to the point. Waypoint are saved to card in OziExplorer’s format (wpt). You can copy this file or add some points to it using any software on you computer.
Navigation
gpsVP supports simple navigation. You can select any location and tell the program that you are going there. After that it begins to show you direction to the point. Distance monitors shows distance from current location to the point. Navigation only works when GPS receiver is connected and determined location.
GPS receiver
GPS receiver can be connected via BlueTooth. First you need to connect your smartphone to COM port profile of your device. After that you need to select the port you’ve connected to your device in Menu->Setup->Settings dialog. GPS connection modes
In (Menu->GPS->Connect period) submenu you can change GPS connection from permanent to periodical and set connect period. In such mode gpsVP connects to GPS receiver for several seconds, receives information and then disconnect for selected time. Such mode produces irregular track but may be useful in two cases. First of all it greatly decreses GPS receiver power consumption so it can operate much longer. Secondly it allows several smartphones connect to one receiver at the same time.
Keyboard layout
Every operation you can perform with gpsVP is available from menu. To speed up operation you can assign any action to almost any key. By default assignment is the following:
* joystick left, right, up, down - move map or monitor selection left, up, right or down
* joystick press - context menu
* 1/2 - zoom in/out
* 3 - switch between main display and monitors mode
* 4/5 - increase/decrease detail

VirtualGPS Lite v1.54 for Smartphone
Description:
VirtualGPS Lite is is a small utility, which fully emulates GPS module and returns your location (by using cellular towers and/or wi-fi hotspots). Location accuracy is about 50-500m.
Accuracy of coordinates is about 200m in urban area and up to 5km in countryside. Screenshots are explaining how to use VirtualGPS with navigation software (e.g. "Google Maps").
WHY DO I NEED THIS SOFTWARE?
You may say "Hey, google maps already has this feature!". Sure, but:
1. Google "my location" feature works only with google maps, while VirtualGPS works with any navigation software.
2. VirtualGPS supports wider range of devices because it uses 3 modes of getting cellular info instead of one like in google maps. (e.g. google maps does not work with IPAQ Voice Messenger, but this program does).
3. VirtualGPS can work in PDA without phone module, see AT mode.
TUTORIAL
1. Check the internet connection on your gadget.
2. Run VirtualGPS, wait about 1 minute until GPS: ON (or OFF in case of no reception) is shown.
3. Do not quit the program unless you need it.
4. Run navigation software. In the settings put GPS on COMx (Port is displayed on the main screen).
5. Now your gadget thinks it's connected to real GPS ;)
HOW DOES IT WORK?
There are 3 modes of getting relevant info from cellular towers:
1. RIL mode. (implementation depends on manufacturer)
2. MEM mode. (memory reading for OMAP processors, does not work for UMTS).
Before start you can be asked about MCC and MNC values. These values can be found here.
E.g. for Germany MCC must be 262.
3. AT mode. (AT commands are used, can work as a linkage of simple mobile phone and PDA without phone module, both devices can be connected via bluetooth or IrDA).
Starting of this mode can take up to 3 minutes.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem:
0, 0, 0, 0 or -1, -1, -1, -1 is showing on first line.
Solution:
Current mode is not supported by this device.
Problem:
GPS: OFF
Solution:
1. Check an internet connection.
2. Position of current cell is missing in the database, change your location. Pro version may also help.
Problem:
GPS: ON but navigation program can not connect to GPS.
Solution:
Probably two navigation programs are trying to connect to the one port. Note, only one program can use simultaneously VirtualGPS.
If you still have problems, run VirtualGps for at least 2 minutes. Then press "Menu"->"Log"->"Save To File", quit and send log.txt to the contact email.

PocketNotepad v5.2
Description:
To every Notepad fun, pocket version of Notepad is now available!
The concept of PocketNotepad is "To provide the same feature as Desktop Notepad does" or "Nothing added to the original Notepad". :-) That is, no toolbars, rebar bands, etc...
On the other hand, it does not provide several functions as it is becoming to its name. The eliminated functions are, for example, printing, drag&drop and so on.
Thus, in the case you do not use Notepad on your desktop mainly, it is not considered as appropriate to use PocketNotepad heavily on your Windows Mobile device. It is thought as appropriate to use PocketNotepad for viewing text files, for taking short memo, for a buffer in cutting and pasting.
While, in the case you are a heavy user of desktop Notepad, PocketNotepad would be the most preferable editor on your Windows Mobile device. It's small, light, cute and simple. PocketNotepad does not require MFC dll. It's really small!
PocketNotepad for Smartphone aka Windows Mobile Standard
Smartphone version has almost the same functionality as the other Windows Mobile versions, including the following:
* Open/Save any text format files with or without .txt extension through tGetFile.dll file dialog.
* Cut/Copy/Paste function via standard Windows Mobile clipboard.
* Select function to select a region without stylus.
* Find/Find Next to find target word(s). Find Next soft key stays for a while, so that, finding the next same word(s) is extremely easy.
* Time/Date function which insert the current time and date.

* False device type recognition, that is, PocketNotepad falsely recognized Windows Mobile devices as old Handheld PC devices under certain conditions, which was introduced in Ver 5.0, has been resolved.
